Directors:

 

Mark & Sandee Simpson: Co-owners of Dance Arts Centre in Bristol, Ct. for more than 50 years. Their goal is to provide the best in technical dance training in a positive, friendly atmosphere.

     Mark's teaching covers the past 45 years. He is a master teacher, having worked across the United States, Canada and South Africa at workshops and national conventions with both students and teachers in all forms of dance. Mark also teaches at a local high school having started a dance program there in cooperation with the arts department.

    

     His students and choreography have won numerous awards at both the regional and national levels, such as several Miss and Mr Dance of Ct. and a Mr Dance of America with Dance Masters. Mark also won Choreographer of the Year at American Dance Awards national competition. 

    

     Mark's students have gone on to perform in music videos, theme parks, cruise lines and on Broadway.

     Sandee has had a long and varied career in the dance world. She is a former member of the Radio City Rockettes, The Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo and danced at the Latin Quarter in NYC. She taught here in Bristol for over 50 years before retiring her dancing shoes.

    

     Sandee now handles the business end of the studio along with the costuming of our dancers.
